These are a few pictures from an afternoon excursion we took to the Crescent Island in Lake Naivasha, just an hour's drive to the northeast of Kijabe. There we saw wildebeests, giraffes, zebras, gazelles, water bucks, impalas, hippos, and many species of birds. I tried to present a sense of the scope and feel of the area in these photos. We will post some close-ups of the animals tomorrow.
